Used Compressor
The core of any refrigeration system, the compressor has to perform. The great news is that an older compressor can do the exact same job that a new one can. (Just as a side note, we do sell new compressors too, and would be happy to supply you with a Howe, Howden, Mycom, Vilter, Sabroe, M&M or Hasegawa compressor.) Decades of experience go into every reconditioned used compressor here. See the brochure, call us now to find out more, or read below. Ammonia Compressor ReconditioningHere at ARESCO in Elkhorn, Nebraska, we take every quality used compressor that comes our way and follow stringent procedures to recondition it. Dedicated to being the very best compressor reconditioning facility in the U.S., we take the following steps to bring every ammonia compressor to its fullest potential, ready to provide its new owner years of service! How we begin the ammonia compressor reconditioning procedure: Disassemble and clean: Complete disassembly, removing every component from the frame and soaking every part in a special solution that has been created exclusively for ARESCO. Every bit of carbon, paint, oil, rust and any other lingering impurities, anything that is not the essential component or frame structure, is removed. The most intricate of gas or oil passages is cleaned thoroughly and made like new. Replace: As these are used compressors, we expect to find wear on some parts and thus inspect every surface—especially of safety heads, liners, and other parts. We maintain stringent standards and tolerance specifications and will replace any part that does not meet them. Recondition: Liners or safety heads that pass our specifications are reconditioned in our in-house machine shop. Technicians sharpen liners, including all critical surfaces, and lap safety heads to ensure sealing integrity. Why not outsource this process? Simply because we can control the results and ensure the outcomes we’re known for by keeping this in our Nebraska facilities. This is just the beginning. To learn about the complete reconditioning process, please download the brochure and feel free to contact us to discuss your options. |
